C-POD Operator
at SINAY Sarl in France
Mission :
SINAY company is dedicated to marine mammal preservation. We offer service at sea as Marine Fisheries Observer for bycatch survey and Marine Mamml Observer for acoustic impact survey (seismic vessel, pilling noise, etc.). We also develop research program to study marine mammal behavior using passive acoustic.
You will be responsible of a large scale C-POD survey in the French coast in order to study porpoise and bottlenose dolphin habitat. You will plan the studies, moring the CPOD, analyse data and trained people to the use of C-POD.
Candidate :
Competencies :
Master / PhD / Post-doctoral
Marine Mammals / Acoustic / Computer Science / English / French
Strong experience with T-POD and C-POD.
Experience of working at sea.
Qualities :
- Communication
- Etrepreneurial
- Autonomus
