Marine Fisheries Observers (MFO)

SINAY company is dedecated to marine mammal preservation. We offer service at sea as Marine Fisheries Observer for bycatch survey. SINAY conduct a large scale bycatch survey programm on the french fisheries fleet. More than 1000 days at sea will be done this year. This program is lead by the French Ministry of Fisheries regarding European Commission regulation.
You will go on board on fisheries vessel to collect data, then full fill form and software for the analysis.
Competencies :
Master / PhD / Post-doctoral
Fisheries science / Marine Mammals / Acoustic / Computer Science / English / French
Experience of working at sea.
